If you buy the arguments that the teacher’s union exists to help the kids, then perhaps you’ll buy the argument that the democrats want to unionize child care centers to help the children as well.
Any parent who had to scramble to find child care for their kid who has been abandoned by the public school system due to a teacher’s strike knows the truth. Teachers unions look after their leadership and that’s it.

The way it works is this.
1. Democrat politicians write a law saying that day care centers have to unionize.
2. Union bosses crack the whip and coerce day care centers to unionize. If they don’t they get taken to court and pay fines until they go out of business.
3. Union bosses sneak in and take over the unions that the day care centers form. See, day care workers are too busy taking care of the children they are responsible for to run a union. So union bosses move in and fill up the empty seats.
4. Union bosses start extorting money from the day care workers. After all, unions aren’t free.
5. Union bosses start extorting money from the children’s parents. After all, day care workers are being mistreated by them. This additional money passes straight through the day care workers into the union coffers.
6. Meanwhile, any independent day care centers that open up, or even any teen-age girl that wants to babysit, are taken to court and forced to join a union. If they don’t, they go to jail, are fined, or worse.
7. The unions take the money they have and pay themselves with it. Then they hand out cash to democrat candidates and democrat causes.
8. More democrats get elected, and they write tougher laws to help the unions.
We’ve seen this again and again. This is the MO of the Democratic Party. They use the power they get through elections to pay off their supporters, who pay the politicians to get elected.
As Sen. Schumer said, the American people, or in this case, the people of Washington State, simply don’t care. (link) They will go on raping and pillaging the American people until they are the only show in town.
You can contact your state senators and let them know you are on to the scheme and oppose this bill. Or you can agree with Sen. Schumer that we really don’t mind all the raping and pillaging by the government.
