Instead of Tea

By Jonathan Gardner

Since we aren’t protesting the taxing of our tea, we really shouldn’t throw tea overboard.

Instead, what we are protesting is the taxing of income to fund bad decisions and political payouts.

There’s one simple way to solve this problem: Take the advice of President Obama when he said, “Now is not the time to profit.” Take only what you need to survive, but refuse to work for any more, at all, period. Heck, if you live in an area with a high cost of living, take your life savings, sell your place, and move out into the wilderness so that you can get by while earning even less. Consider yourself on vacation for the two to four years that the democrats remain in power and decide they will use that power to tax the rich and reward the stupid.

When there are no more rich to tax, there are no more tax revenues.

When the American economy truly goes in the dumper because everyone refuses to profit, there will be no more money to borrow. Would China buy American debt if the Dow Jones were at 12?

Hopefully, this way we can shame the whole concept of socialism as the worst idea ever.

When we get a capitalist government back that will refuse to tax profits but instead build a system where you can keep what you earn and invest it wisely, then we can get back to work building the greatest country on earth.
