The GOP Supported King’s Vision

January 16, 2012

This Martin Luther King day, I want to share with you, readers, the perspective of the GOP, the Republican Party, on Martin Luther King’s vision for our society.

As you have been told, the GOP is a racist and hateful party. Nothing is farther from the truth. The inception of the Republican Party was when the current group of politicians could not find the backbone to stand up for the civil rights of the black race. In response, the Republican Party was formed, the Civil War was fought, and Reconstruction, that period of time when the Republican congress mercilessly pursued state governments and officials who tried to deny the black race their civil rights was enacted.

In the 60′s, republicans were well aware of the atrocities that the Democratic Party had enacted against the black race. Things like Jim Crow laws, and “separate bu equal” were abhorrent in our party’s sight. However, since for the better part of the 20th Century the Republican Party was a minority in congress, we could do little to help except in our own communities or realms of influence.

In the 1960′s, there were enough democrats, finally, that the republicans were able to get a new Civil Rights bill passed. About this time, people started defecting from the Democratic Party, not because they wanted to join the “racist” Republican Party, but rather because it was clear to them that the Democratic Party was quickly becoming the communist party of the United States. This meant a number of politicians with a racist past joined the Republican Party. It also meant that the Republican Party began to explain to these politicians the minimum behavior we demanded, and began to convince them of the vision we had for the black race, that of complete equality under the law, which they found to be tolerable and even preferable. This generation of republicans is all but extinct, along with their foolish ideas.

Martin Luther King marched with a very large number of black people. We all know this. What people often ignore is the very large number of white republicans that marched with Martin Luther King as well. This is but one example of how the Democratic Party has tried to change history.

People forget the massive and unprecedented effort to make sure congress passed the Civil Rights legislation. The TEA Party seems like a huge thing today, but it pales in comparison with the number of republicans who were raising money, knocking on doors, and making phone calls at that time. I doubt the bill would have passed if it weren’t for countless thousands of republicans doing the back-breaking work of shifting public opinion and showing politicians that their vote would be remembered. This was when republicans realized, for the first time in a generation, that they had enough people behind them that they could win. The seeds for the ’94 Republican Revolution were sown in this event.

The sacrifice that Martin Luther King and his supporters made will forever be remembered by the Republican Party. Martin Luther King spoke for us when he dreamed of a future where skin color doesn’t matter. That was the sentiment many republicans felt back in 1860 when the party was first formed. That’s the same sentiment the vast majority of republicans feel today. That’s why we are so welcoming to black politicians who rise to the highest ranks in our political party, and why we encourage everyone to participate in our party, provided they agree with our ideals of equality under the law. I do not care who is black or who is white; that is completely irrelevant to me. I simply wish everyone to do the best with what they have, to be treated equally under the law, and to be given the respect that God demands we render each other.

Don’t let the democrats tell you that the republicans are racist. It takes 5 minutes talking with a real live republican to see that this is simply not true. It takes 5 minutes of reading history to see that this isn’t true. The true party of racism is the Democratic Party. They continue with the same tactics they have used to keep the black race subservient to their political desires today.

Do not think that the over-sized federal government and the welfare state is designed to empower the black people. It is the same policy the American government used to pacify and enslave the Indian nations and make them a shadow of what they used to be. It is the same policy we use to keep foreign powers in check and below us. After all, when one person is paying off another, who is in control of the relationship when the payee becomes dependent on the money?

The new plantations are the projects and government handouts and preferential racist policies. The new slaves are people who grow up into this system believing they cannot survive without the government. The slave masters are the greedy bastards in political office who use this to get re-elected year after year, and grow fat off of the skimmings. They think they have a pretty good system, and it would work if their assumption about the black race—that they are inferior to the white race—was correct. One day, however, the black race will realize what a tremendous con game they have been cheated with, and rise up and demand equality and justice, equality and justice the Democratic Party does not offer them.

Today, the Democratic Party is falling to pieces, literally, before our very eyes. It used to be that the unions, black population, hispanic population, pacifists, environmentalists, and marxists would happily work together. Today, under President Obama’s failed leadership, none of them are getting along at all. The only party that can hold together a solid coalition is the Republican Party, and that only because they have rallied around ideas, not demographics.

All X Are Y

July 2, 2011

To understand the stupidity of linking groups with behavior that isn’t directly related, take a listen to Obama’s former pastor telling his church youth that all whites are liars over and over.

Now, if you’re one of those people who believe all Mormons are liars (because they are Mormon), and your skin color happens to be white, you’ll get a feeling for how I feel when I hear that sad lie repeated again and again.

Now, ask yourself, as a white person, do you think that Rev. Wright is right? Of course not. He just looks like a bigoted fool.

If you repeat the lie that all Mormons are liars, do you know how you look like to me and others who are wiser then yourself?

Democrat Thinks Republicans Want Jim Crow Laws

June 6, 2011

The leader of the Democratic Party is claiming the republicans want to bring back Jim Crow laws.

Since a lot of people probably believe that, let me help people understand.

First, a history lesson. It was the Republican Party that fought the Civil War to free the slaves. Our blood was shed by democrats so black slaves could live free.

It was the Republican Party that amended the constitution so that reconstruction could begin.

It was the Republican Party that won majority after majority, despite all the claims of corruption, because they “waved the bloody shirt” and continued to hammer racist democrat politicians with the full force of federal fury.

It was the Republican Party who helped black people get elected in former confederate states.

It was the Republican Party who resisted efforts to put racists supreme court justices in power, and institute racist policies such as segregation under democratic leadership in the early 20th Century.

The only thing in the entire history of race relations that the democrats could claim any honor in is the Civil Rights Act, which they won narrowly because the Republicans voted overwhelmingly for it.

If there was any party who wanted Jim Crow laws, it would be the Democratic Party. That is, after all, the political persuasion of the judges and legislatures that imposed those laws.

Sometime in the late 50′s, the democratic party realized that there was a much easier way to enslave the black people—federal entitlement programs. By destroying the free economy with high taxes and burdensome regulations, and then by diverting those taxes to entangle the black poor in welfare programs, and finally, by rewarding those who broke up their families, the Democratic Party has done more damage to the black race in America than their slave holding political ancestors could’ve dreamed of.

Republicans fight against entitlement programs that deprive people of their rights, programs such as welfare.

Republicans fight to keep tax rates low, so that black people can start their own businesses, make a profit, and then keep that profit so that they can reinvest it in themselves and their community.

Republicans fight to protect traditional marriage, the only institution in our society which is proven, time and again, to lift people out of poverty, while other family arrangements do nothing of the sort.

It is Republicans who have stood behind the races of men that the Democrats have despised since the beginning, Republicans who champion limited government and individual liberty, and who ultimately want to see all people equal because all people will be free to do what they like.

I don’t know any republican who would want Jim Crow laws. I do know of republicans who believe certain matters are better left to the states, barring a constitutional amendment, but this is not support of Jim Crow laws.

My Race: American

January 31, 2011

Michelle Malkin talks about the real no-labels movement. It seems America’s youth don’t like being classified into a single race.

Myself? I’m American. I’m not Caucasian-American or African-American or Asian-American or anything like that. I’m American. I don’t identify myself with a race or a color. My fathers are those who fought for individual, God-given liberties, and my brothers are those who believe in the equality of man in the eyes of God. That’s why I count Moses as one of my ancestors, along with George Washington (who had no children) and every other figure from history who saw people as subjects of God who could not be ruled by men.

Republicans Elect Minorities

November 5, 2010

South Carolina just elected their first black representative in a century.

We are living in a post-racial world, at least in the Republican Party. We don’t care what a person’s race is, and we don’t use it to get people elected. The result? Equality.

The Left

November 2, 2010

This is what the left is today:

Caution: There is a lot of foul language

Look, I’m fine with speech and all, but I think the left would do well to remember that falsely accusing people of racism leads to this sort of violence. If there is a real racist out there, let’s expose them and take them down without violence. But playing the race card because you can’t defend your tax-and-spend obliteration of our country is hurting our country.

White Democrat Congressman Threatens and Assaults Black Republican Congressional Candidate

October 20, 2010

This brings back memories.

If you remember how the KKK started, it was formed to intimidate blacks and republicans and especially black republicans. The KKK was a wing of the Democratic Party, which still retains some of the roots of its violent and racist past.

Representative Steny Hoyer has threatened to assault and has assaulted a black republican running for congress in his district. He’s not raising a major fuss over it, except to question the sanity of someone who assaults a marine.

More at Gateway Pundit.

For the Record

October 16, 2010

For the record, I don’t care what color the people of America are in the future, nor what country they claim to have come from.

The only important thing is that they are a freedom-loving, independent people who look first towards themselves to help themselves, then their family and churches, and finally their community.

Racist Congresswoman Apologizes

September 25, 2010

Remember the congresswoman from California trying to divide people based on skin color and ethnicity? She wasn’t a republican. No, she was a democrat, just practicing the typical racist politics of that party.

She’s apologized. That is, she apologized for wording her racism poorly and for offending anyone.

So how about it folks. If a Klansman apologized for poor word choice or for offending anyone, would you accept the apology?

How about the woman offer a real apology, and say something like, “Discriminating against people due to their skin color or ethnic origin is fundamentally wrong and repugnant to our country’s ideals and founding principles.”

Better yet, why doesn’t she just resign and admit that there is no room in the government of any free country for racists?

Where’s the Racism?

September 24, 2010

I don’t know where this got started, but I’d like to see how it can continue.

The charge is that someone who believes in limited government is racist. Somehow, the fundamental belief that government is limited while the rights of the people are not, that government is taxing, spending, and regulating too much and must lower taxes, spending, and reduce regulations is the same as believing that some people are inferior because of the color of their skin.

There is a parallel charge that republicans are racist because they are republican. This one boggles the mind because it was the very thought of ending slavery that lead to the creation of the Republican Party in the first place. A quick review of the history books shows that the Republican Party has been extremely radical in its anti-racial legislation and amendments passed. After Lincoln died, the party went through a fundamental transformation that lead it to become even more radical in its pursuit of the end of racism than it was during the war.

In fact, the party of racism has been, and in many ways, remains the Democratic Party. A quick review of history will show this to be true. Even today’s campaigning by democrats show that racism is alive and well within that party, as they try to divide Vietnamese from Blacks and Mexicans and Whites with their rhetoric.

In the interest of fairness, I’m opening up the forum for someone to explain how believing in limited government is fundamentally racist. If there are no takers, then I will be left to conclude that there is no connection between the two philosophies.

Those of you who accuse the Tea Party or Republican Party of being racist without knowing why are no better than those who showed up to the KKK rallies without really understanding why they had noosed up that particular republican or black fellow, other than everyone else said it was the right thing to do. (Yes, the KKK did kill many republicans.) It is people like you are close-minded.
