“Birthers” and Obama and Victory

by

I’ll readily admit, I am one of those crazy nuts who actually believes that Barack Obama hasn’t produced a legal birth certificate showing that he was born in the USA. That makes me a “birther”, if you see things that way.

However, I don’t believe we who believe this should talk much about it in public.

In battle, you use what works against your enemy. You don’t use everything available, just what is readily available and what will get the job done. In engineering, it’s the same thing. There are lots of things you can do, but you have to choose something you can do right now and that is all but guaranteed to work.

If you believe Obama isn’t showing his real birth certificate, for whatever reason, you likely want him to step down and leave office. Barring that, you’d like to see his policies and politics thwarted at every turn. An illegitimate president has no right to execute his office.

If so, then your goal becomes to stop the man’s agenda. That means destroying the man politically. How is the best way you can do that? You use what works.

Obviously, the birth certificate issue could be a good weapon against Barack Obama’s policies and agenda. But there is a far better issue that is not only useful, but extremely powerful.

That weapon is his fiscal irresponsibility, his socialist attitudes, and his blatant arrogance and dishonesty. These are completely obvious to everyone, on all sides of the aisle, in between the aisles, and above and below them. No one thinks he is trying to do anything but bankrupt the country, no one believes he is anything but a died-in-the-wool red socialist, and no one believes he is anything but a dishonest, arrogant, child of a man.

These attacks are effective and devastating. Let’s use them again and again. Let’s keep using them until Barack Obama becomes the campaign issue—for fiscally conservative, pro-liberty, humble honest politicians.

With these kinds of politicians in place, what do we care if the president is a sworn enemy to the United States whose loyalties fall elsewhere?

Barack Obama has made the birth certificate issue moot. He has shown himself to be vulnerable to things far more serious than attacking his place of birth and citizenship credentials. Let’s move on from the weaker issue to the stronger one.

I agree that the birth certificate issue is a weak issue. I would take much more statisfaction watching Obama exit the Oval office with signifigantly less support than what he recieved in the last election. (10% would be sweeter still) I think Obama and his Czars want as many “birthers” in public so that he can marginalize the right wing in his run for re-election. While were at it can we keep the “passionate” anti-abortion crowd down as well. It is counter productive.

The only thing the pro-lifers have going for them is resounding support through the country. Unfortunately, Barack Obama has positioned himself as a pro-life president even though his policies are completely the opposite.

Again, it’s easy to attack him on his fiscal conservatism, honesty, humility, and respect for individual rights because he has none and everyone knows it.

We won the election and now these sore losers will continue to spew your hate with lies. The way our courts work is that you get a competent lawyer, verifiable facts and present them to a judge, if the facts are real and not half baked lies, then, and only then, you proceed to trial. The Birthers seem to be having a problem with their so called facts that they present. Let’s face it no one will go along with you until you guys win a case, but until then, you will continue to appear dumb, crazy or racist, or maybe all three. Keep plucking that chicken.

Are you saying that the people must always wait for the Supreme Court to tell us what is truth and what is error?

I think you misunderstood the constitution. It didn’t grant powers to the people, but created and set the limits on the government. We run them, not the other way around.

All Barack Obama has to do is produce a real birth certificate and this controversy goes away. Heck, he doesn’t even have to produce a birth certificate—just allow whoever wants to look up his birth certificate to do so.

If it’s racist and crazy to say that all a person has to do to prove their citizenship and eligibility for president is to show a birth certificate, then call me racist and crazy.

    • Jonathan Gardner Says:

Oh, by the way, if it turns out your guy was never eligible to be president, you’ll still have Biden. That’s what the constitution says. It doesn’t matter how many people vote for you, you can’t eliminate the requirements for eligibility, nor the process in place to correct eligibility mistakes.
