Today is Constitution Day: Read It

by

Today is constitution day.

Read it. All.

Now, ponder on Article 1, Section 8. That’s the part where all the things that congress (and hence, the federal government) are allows to do. And then ponder on our current state of affairs.

Ask yourself: Which, if any, of those limitations has not been violated?

Today is a day of mourning, not of celebration. We have wandered so far from our roots that they are barely recognizable, and applying the rules that formed the basis of our country to our government of today would paralyze it.

Let us vote for those candidates who swear an oath to defend the constitution from enemies domestic.
