On the Latest Muslim Brouhaha

January 13, 2015

A group of Muslims murdered some journalists in France. Their claimed justification was that they published images that insulted their prophet.

A lot of leftists here in the US and Europe want us to self-censor. A lot of others want us to stir up hatred among the Muslim community by publishing even more insulting things.

I think we need to rethink what is most important.

First, the condition of entering into a society like France’s is that you will uphold their law. If you don’t intend to keep their laws and customs, then don’t go to France. France needs to police their own borders. It would be perfectly justifiable if they asked incoming people of the Muslim persuasion, “Will you get angry if someone publishes something that insults your religion?” and “Will you either harm or protect those who harm someone who does so?” If the answer is contrary to their ideals, then France has every right to say, “I’m sorry, you’re not allowed in our country.” If the French have reason to suspect the individual is lying, then they can ban such people outright from their country, just based on something such as the people they’ve associated with or their country of origin. If there is some legally binding method in their religion whereby they can get them to swear an oath that they will not harm nor protect those who would harm them, then they should employ it.

The United States needs similar controls. We should have a way to figure out whether someone coming in to our borders intends to keep our laws and customs or whether they intend to break it. With our borders the way they are, we have lost control completely. We have no idea who is coming in our country nor what their intentions are. The only remedy I can think of is “open, secure” borders. That is, everyone is welcome to come in to our country, provided they use legal entry points and declare their intentions upon arrival. Everyone else is not welcome and should be hunted as an enemy.

Second, I don’t believe there is any purpose to insulting Islam. I don’t like it when people make fun of my church, and I believe that the rule that Jesus laid down is “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” So I go out of my way *not* to insult other people’s beliefs. If people are sensible and calm and rational, then I’ll engage in a discussion about their religion, and that may involve asking questions or making statements that may be considered offensive, but if they’re so touchy that they would react violently, I leave them alone.

We should be honest in acknowledging what Islam is and what they hold sacred, we should avoid insulting them intentionally, but of course, we shouldn’t cater to their perversions.

Third, I think justice in this case involves more than finding the people who killed the journalists and their accomplices, along with all those who tried to shelter them. Find them all, punish them with the law, but understand that you can’t play whack-a-mole and expect your citizens to live freely. Proactive work needs to be done. The French need to infiltrate the Muslim community and identify those who would resort to violence and those who would not keep their laws and kick them out of the country. If there are state or state-like actors who intend to harm their country, they should be engaging in war with them as we speak. Remember, free societies don’t declare war, but we do acknowledge war with belligerents and we should take it seriously, no matter how small they seem now. It doesn’t take much resources to kill your people in their homeland.

The War on Terror in Iraq was ingenious. An entire generation of Muslim radicals were tricked into pouring into Iraq and slaughtered. We need to keep this up. We need to create a scenario where they are much more likely to go to one of their countries and wage war, and we can fight them secure in the knowledge that we’re not fighting them at home. I think today ISIS is a great magnet for these kinds of people, and we should send the message to the Muslim youth that joining ISIS is the best path to jihad. At the same time, we should be slaughtering them by the thousands.

It’s high time we treated Muslims as human beings. As human beings, we need to explain to them what rules they need to live by, the same rules we live by. Those who follow the rules should be accepted as equals. Those who don’t need to be treated justly. Justice means executing the murderer and pursuing war when we are pursued by war until we gain peace through the submission of our aggressors.

Why Muslims Can’t Have Their Own State

February 23, 2012

In Tunisia and Egypt, it’s becoming very apparent that when Obama allowed the people to overthrow the government, he allowed muslim radicals to dominate the countries and rise to power. This is very, very bad for the world.

If you don’t understand why, if you’re one of those people that think everyone has a right to self-rule, then help me inform you.

I’m going to divide Muslims into two groups, based on one discriminating factor that is easily identified. The factor is this: do they respect the rights of others? Do they allow others to worship, to live, to do what they think is best? Or do they try to impose their ideas on others by force and without regard to what is best for the people around them?

Maybe it would help if we took the discussion of rights back to where it was five hundred years ago, when kings were everywhere and they claimed rights from God to rule. Why would some kings seem to do just fine while others couldn’t seem to get a grip on their throne and scepter? It’s rather simple. One group of kings understood their rights and responsibilities, two faces of the same coin, while the other group thought they could have one without another.

In those days, if a king rose up with a proper respect of his rights and responsibilities, and organized his nation under his leadership to be more peaceful, more just, and more effective in battle, and especially more wealthy, the people would celebrate him as a wise and just king, and would gladly lay down their lives to defend his position. If a king rose up with a different idea, that his rights entitled him to special privileges and didn’t demand justice for the people, then the people would gladly support whomever came along to replace him when the time was right.

Consider each man a king, each man in the world today endowed by God himself to rule on a throne of power. Some men will take that power and use it responsibly. These are the people who can self-rule and who can build societies with a republic form of government. Other men will abuse their rights for selfish purposes, not respecting the rights of the others around them. These are people who cannot self-rule, and when entrusted with the power to self-rule, end up harming themselves and the people around them.

Many Muslims in the Middle East are perfectly responsibly, ordinary salt-of-the-earth types. I don’t have a problem with them. Indeed, we need to treat them the same way we treat endangered species. I wouldn’t mind if America and the rest of the civilized world boldly declared that any fair-minded person in the Middle East who’s rights are not respected would be just cause for war. That is, if one person gets their hands chopped off without due process, one woman gets stoned to death without something resembling a fair trial, then we get to go in and invade the country.

You may think this is extreme, but it’s really not. In days past, we could easily contain threats from countries dominated by people who simply don’t understand that with rights come responsibility, or people who are incapable of acting responsibly. Geography and technology separated us. In these days, there is no such barrier.

And when you get a government run by these kinds of people, they will think little of taking bold action to kill people in other nations. We’ve already seen this, repeated, multiple times.

Which is why we need to unify behind whatever government we can to dominate these countries dominated by men incapable of governing themselves, whether they are popular or not. If there is a government of unjust men in some country in the Middle East, we need to overthrow it and replace it with an American-backed state. If there is any hope of one day a Muslim nation actually being dominated by responsible men, then we need to do it for the sake of the just in those countries.

If we admit that such a goal is too lofty, then we need to take a different stance with these countries. Rather than nation-building, we need to pursue a doctrine of perpetual destruction. Whenever one warlord rises to power, we play the other warlords to crush him, and ensure that they can never unify more than a few people at a time. That’s how Europe survived until now, despite the overwhelming capability of the Muslim nations to overthrow them.

Again, if the radical Muslims weren’t so numerous and weren’t so bent on abusing their rights, we wouldn’t need to have this discussion at all.

“Death to America”

November 16, 2010

At the Hajj, a religious pilgrimage to Mecca for muslims, participants shouted “Death to America!”

Folks, there is, apparently, a very large segment of the Islam religion that wants to see America destroyed. Since that is the case, can we go ahead and declare war on them?

The answer: Of course.

Any group of people whose purpose is to destroy our country is, de facto, our enemy, whether or not we acknowledge it.

It’s time we made it clear: You cannot have a religion of peace that declares “Death to America!” It’s time we held those who think they can hide behind their religion as justification for overthrowing our country that we will use their religion as identity tags in the coming war.

I know there are a lot of muslims who don’t want “Death to America!” It is up to them to help us identify one from the other.

In the LDS church, we do not allow those who practice polygamy in our membership roles. Simply preaching in favor of polygamy as a practice today is enough to get excommunicated. We have worked very hard to make sure that those who want to hijack our religion are clearly labeled.

What the Islam religion needs is the same. They should setup membership criteria for the “Religion of Peace Islam”, among which are tenets such as not shouting “Death to America!”, or “Death to Any Country!” Then they can point fingers at the other Islam, the “Religion of Death to America Islam” and say, “These people do not believe the words in their own scriptures, and are not a member of Islam.”

This will help us greatly when our war turns into a shooting match. The “Religion if Peace Islam” members can help us find and shoot the “Religion of Death to America Islam” members.

This division is already happening, and has been happening for some time now, at least since 9/11. The members of the “Religion of Peace Islam” have been helping us find, capture, and kill the “Religion of Death to America Islam” for some time.

I think it’s time we made it official. Let congress write a declaration of war against any religion who preaches “Death to America!”, especially those who purport to subscribe to the teachings in the Koran. The president can prosecute the war in any country using whatever means necessary, until there are no more believers in the “Death to America Islam”.

Of course, this would likely mean an invasion of Iran, the last country out there to officially support and sanction the “Death to America Islam”.

On Free Speech and Burning Korans

September 28, 2010

Earlier, I wrote about a church in Florida that wanted to burn a Koran.

Today, a group of Muslims in North America issued a proclamation declaring that people have a right to insult Islam, either by drawing derogatory pictures of Mohammed or burning Korans, and while that is offensive, what is more offensive are those who confess Islam yet preach violence against those who insult Islam. (link)

This is an important step. Muslims who agree with this proclamation should share it with their fellow muslims.

We must remember that there are two elements out there, barely related to one another.

On the one hand, we have a very large group of devout muslims who want nothing more than to live in peace and be left alone. These are our friends and we should welcome them and protect their right to practice their religion with our very lives.

On the other hand, we have a large group of devout muslims who want nothing more than to kill and murder in the name of Allah. (Interestingly, the do not distinguish between Kuffir and Muslim who disagree with them, except that they pursue Muslims who disagree with them more vigorously.) These are our enemies, and we should hunt them down and kill them no matter where they are in the world until they realize that the sanctity of life is more important than the practice of religion. If we allow them to continue to exist, our lives will forever be in jeopardy at their whim.

It is interesting to note that the one group is helping us in our war with the other. The one group, in fact, does not consider themselves separate from us at all, except in religion, but call themselves American or Canadian.

Local Muslim Sees Ground Zero Mosque Differently

September 23, 2010

Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but when that opinion translates into violence, the right to life means we must defend ourselves.

In this case, a local University of Washington student is threatening to build a mosque on our graves. Whether he is unique in his opinion, or whether he represents a large portion of the Muslim population in Washington State and nationally remains to be seen.

Muslims, Christians, Jews, and all people, give ear. I don’t mind when you believe in things different from myself. Worship whatever God you want in whatever way you want. My God demands that I tolerate the beliefs of others.

However, there is a fundamental religion in our country that all who live here must believe in and must accept as universal and inarguable. This is the religion that teaches us that all have rights that come from our Creator, and that these rights include the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Its principles, which are few, are enshrined in our Declaration of Independence.

The moment you begin to act in ways that contradict our right to life and liberty, that’s the moment we begin to pick up arms to defend ourselves. We will kill in the name of life, and we will imprison and enslave in the name of liberty. To do otherwise means we have no right to live and right to liberty.

Yes, this is a threat, the same threat we have made throughout history to all who threaten us first. It is the threat of a threatened American. To act out in self-defense is a universally accepted right, a right which no government can ever supersede or limit.

We do not submit to your moon-God and false prophet who proclaim war instead of peace and blood instead of bread. Your attempts to make us submit only make us angrier. If you radical muslims continue with your attempts, there will be a religious war in our country, a war between those who do not respect the right to life and those who do.

The last time we had a religious war of this sort we had a hero named Stephen Decatur. That’s the name of the high school I attended in Federal Way. Read up on him a bit, muslims, and answer us why one man was able to stand against so many armies and win.

Is the World on the Brink of World War III?

August 14, 2010

By: Frosty E Hardison

Well, for two years we’ve been talking about it and hearing about it and even passing sanctions over it. I’m talking of course about Iran and their pursuit of nuclear energy. Well, here’s how it’s likely going to go down:

One day quite soon, Israel is going to grow tired of arms passing from Iran, through Syria and into Lebanon and Gaza. One day the last rocket breaking the proverbial camels back and really ticking off the wrong administration in Israel, will lead to an all out war. Israel will grow tired of having their nation bombarded by rockets with no world remorse for it, especially from the UN, who flipped over a ship running the blockade a few weeks ago. Fed up enough to take out the rockets in Lebanon. This in step brings Syria into the fray and missiles from Syria fly into Israel. The new Israeli missile defenses are great but not good enough for 100% protection. One or two missile(s) get(s) through and kills Israeli citizens. Israel issues an ultimatum to Syria – Cease all military actions against Israel or die. Israel begins moving troops to invade Lebanon, Syria launches another barrage of missiles.

Israel nukes Damascus with a huge neutron bomb. Damascus is GONE. 5 million people are vaporized. Key point here, the bomb is a super bomb. Because Israel had to develop their bomb in secret, there were no tests. The bomb yield is much greater than anyone expected. A neutron bomb several kilo-tons larger than 50 Hiroshima bombs. It is so accurate and devastating that the whole world is alarmed by it. Even the most devout Islamic terrorist is shaken by their spirit in fear of this weapon. Iran is in fear too, as Syria, it’s most important pipeline of weapons to Lebanon and Gaza is no longer a functioning nation – state. Iran, who furnished the Syrian missiles, sees how ineffective missiles are against Israel, as Israel seems to be super naturally protected against everything levied against it. Iran, learning from this, in turn launches missiles into the oil rich states not protected so fiercely, those of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Dubai and UAE killing the oil flow to the western world and getting the US, Russia and EU involved at least in some peace negotiations to call off Israel’s “aggression”. Israel will then finish the job they really wanted to with Iran and take out Iran’s known nuclear facilities. I say their known facilities for a reason.

To avoid a larger war, Obama will propose a 7 year peace treaty, one that removes Iran’s influence from Gaza and Lebanon – not hard because the middle man Syria is virtually no longer an acting nation. Somehow this peace includes a deal with the Muslim world somehow granting Israel the ability to build their Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Must be because Iran is the strongest and most radical of Muslim countries and HAD the most terrorist influence. With that militant backing gone, with the radical Imams silenced in Iran for the time being and the Iranian people presumably back in control, the world accepts the fact that Israel should be allowed to build their Temple, especially if it is to bring about God’s Holy presence on earth again, which don’t look now, is in the best interest to everyone on the planet – not just these few.

The world will rejoice but Iran will be humiliated in the eyes of the world, just like Germany was after the armistice. In just a few years, Iran will try to pull a Germany and regain their honor and glory through war again. This time they will have nukes because not all their facilities are known and were not destroyed or not totally destroyed.

Just food for thought.

Litmus Test for Liberalism

March 6, 2010

By: Frosty E Hardison

I have developed a short list of principles that you MUST support if you are a liberal. If there is just one you do not agree with – then you are not as liberal as you might think. In fact you might want to reconsider that donation to the DNC and ACLU- if you don’t agree with them all.

1. You have to be against capital punishment for repeat offenders, but support the murder of an innocent child through abortion on demand.
2. You have to believe that it’s alright for your kids to have sex in your home or wherever they choose to – without your permission and if they get pregnant at 12, it’s ok for them to seek an abortion without your knowledge or consent.
3. You have to believe that the state knows more about parenting than you do, can do a better job at it and therefore can take your kids away at the whim of your neighbor and put them into foster care where they are 80% more likely to be beaten, sexually abused and murdered.
4. You have to believe that every pagan thing is about freedom of expression and that everything Christian is just another religious zealot believing in outdated myths and legends.
5. You have to believe that funding the Palestinians, Hezbollah and Hamas, so they can buy weapons “to defend themselves”, is the only way to peace in the middle east.
6. You have to be against the building of the third Temple in Jerusalem because it will give credibility to Jewish claims to the land.
7. You have to believe that you are smarter than the natural law of thermodynamics and entropy; that you are the descendant of an ape and that at some point your species came from some scum sucking primordial ooze.
8. You have to believe that businesses create oppression and governments create prosperity.
9. You have to believe that guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens are more of a threat than nuclear weapons technology in the hands of the Chinese, Iranians and North Korean communists.
10. You have to believe that there was no art before federal funding.
11. You have to believe that global temperatures are more affected by soccer moms driving SUVs than by scientifically documented cyclical changes in the sun and earth’s climate.
12. You have to believe that gender roles are offensive, discriminatory and artificial, but being homosexual is natural.
13. You have to believe that the AIDS virus is spread by a lack of federal funding.
14. You have to believe that the same teacher who can’t teach fourth graders how to read is somehow qualified to teach those same kids about sex.
15. You have to believe that sportsmen and hunters don’t care about nature or protecting the pristine environment they enjoy but loony activists who have never been outside of San Francisco do.
16. You have to believe that self-esteem is more important than actually doing something right.
17. You have to believe that Mel Gibson spent $25 million of his own money to make The Passion of the Christ for financial gain only.
18. You have to believe that the NRA is bad because it supports certain parts of the Constitution, while the ACLU is good because it supports certain parts of the Constitution.
19. You have to believe that taxes are too low, but ATM fees are too high.
20. You have to believe that Margaret Sanger and Gloria Steinem are more important to American history than Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Edison, and Alexander Graham Bell.
21. You have to believe that standardized tests are racist, but racial quotas, government forms for services printed in every language and special treatment for illegal immigrants and minorities are not.
22. You have to believe that Hillary Clinton is a normal working class woman and is a very nice person.
23. You have to believe that the only reason socialism hasn’t worked anywhere it’s been tried is because the right people haven’t been in charge.
24. You have to believe that conservatives telling the truth belong in jail, but a liar and a sex offender belonged in the White House.
25. You have to believe that homosexual parades displaying drag, transvestites, public nudity and bestiality should be constitutionally protected, and manger scenes at Christmas should be illegal.
26. You have to believe that illegal funding by the Chinese, and other foreign governments, of the Democratic Party is somehow in the best interest of the United States.
27. You have to believe that it’s okay to give federal workers the day off on Christmas Day, but it’s not okay to have a Christmas tree displayed in their office or even their personal cubical or for them to say “Merry Christmas.”
28. You have to believe that a mandatory court ordered anger management class, specializing in the parenting of teenagers, can be taught by a teacher that has gone to school for years but has never had a child of their own.
29. You have to believe that the government is your friend, that the Federal Reserve Bank is a part of the Federal Government and that the dollar will always be the world’s most stable reserve currency even though the U.S. is now the largest debtor nation in the world, we owe over 74 trillion dollars to other countries and our currency is no longer based on tangible assets such as gold, silver or copper.
30. You have to believe that there is a finite amount of oil in this world and that we have discovered every single deposit there is and that that fact alone is the reason a barrel of oil is trading at $90 – $140 a barrel.
31. You have to believe that a diploma or degree can be a substitute for intelligence and common sense.
32. You have to believe that this message is part of a vast right wing CONSPIRACY.

God help us all.

The Unknown Sponsors of Terrorism

March 9, 2009

Ever heard the saying the best place to hide something is in plain sight? It has come to my attention that there is an unknown and invisible sponsor of terrorism yet to be sanctioned. You do know that the U.S. and it’s allies are cracking down on known terrorist organizations? How would you stop terrorism? Cut off the flow of money maybe? That’s what the U.S. and many of it’s allies are doing.

I have found a hole though. First off, let’s qualify what makes a terrorist organization. How would you define it? An organization that supports the murder and killing of civilians not at war? An organization that does not adhere to the rules of engagement? Perhaps an organization that attacks at will for no reason? How about a financial support of such a group?

These are all intelligent questions to be answered. You should be proud of yourself for being able to answer and define terrorists and their supporters.

Now the bad news. Did you know the Obama administration is writing a $900 million check to the support of the Palestinians? Where do you think that money is going to go? Ever heard of Hamas? It’s a name on the list of recognized terrorist organizations, did you know that? Did you know that Hamas is the “political” group elected to lead Gaza?

So, let me ask you this…

Shouldn’t the fact that the U.S. and Great Britain are financially supporting known terrorists put them on the list of known sponsors of terrorism? Wouldn’t that also make the U.S. a hypocrite? This is the tough one for me… by being a tax payer, we are all sponsors of terror. Isn’t it illegal to do that? Shouldn’t our leaders be locked up and tried for treason for sponsoring the same terrorist organizations other administrations have pointed to as terrorists?

The Last Hurrah?

March 9, 2009

My friends, I come to you this day to let you in on a secret, doctors have given me only a few more months to live. There’s a reality check for anyone to dare take. As many of you will or would do in my shoes, I have grown closer to seeking the truth for myself and my hope is to pass it on to you. So I ask you, How would you come to grips with the fact that your life is ending? I guess the reality is we are all going to pass away… I’m just going to beat most of you to it – on the lighter side – if it’s a race to the death? I win again!

It’s funny, because I predicted this would happen just a few years ago. Looking back, even I have suddenly grown tired of being right all the time! Talk about the power of the spoken word! I pray heaven is all I have read and been told and that the good seeds I have sewn into different ministries across this nation are worth a lot more than my stock value is today.

So, let me ask you: Would you have any regrets? I did find a few.

I actually voted for several pro-choice candidates in my life. I shouldn’t have done that. Pondering upon the ramifications of that saddens me. How many children have I shared in the responsibility of their death because I supported pro-choice at a time in my life? How many blessed children could these children have produced? Come to think of it, I even worked on the campaign for one of them, even though he was a better choice, both candidates were pro-choice. What’s the saying: “If I only knew then what I know now”.

As with many of this age, I didn’t get the whole message about “You’re forgiven, go and sin no more”. It’s the first part most people hear and the second that separates the wheat from the chaff. I know for a time I continued doing the same old things that had gotten me into trouble in the first place. It’s only been in the last decade or so that I caught the second half of the message and became more like I was supposed to be.

As a Bible believing Christian, I know I’m going to a better place. I recommend you all get Jesse Du Plantis’s “Close Encounters of the God kind” to see what I am talking about.

Knowing the time is near, gives you a lot to think about… family and friends. Did you make the right choices? Did you set the right example? I will be leaving many great friends behind. Friends my wife and I have tried to convince that voting party lines when the party clearly and knowingly supports gay rights, gay marriage, abortion and visibly makes a stand against Godly principles… lump supporters in with these devils. If you support ungodly principles and those that undermine the laws of Moses you might as well be one of the devils own, since you buy into the lie. That’s been my take on it anyway.

It may come as a surprise to you, but over two decades ago, I too was a pro-choice leaning Republican myself. One day I made the choice many Christians do, and asked for a more personal relationship with God. Be careful of what you wish for, the truth will set you free. Very shortly after making that choice, I was quietly reminded by the voice of the Holy Spirit in my heart that there is no righteous abortion in the Bible. None. I found I had bought the lie, like so many others do, because it was all wrapped up in the sugar coating that women have rights and should have a choice over their body. A statement I agree with, but when it comes to a baby? The woman is no longer making a choice over JUST her body but the very body and soul of another living being as well. That is murder. They don’t tell you that at Planned Parenthood. It’s a fetus, an embryo anything but a living child… that’s the lie they sell and so many buy. Of course once the truth began entering my heart, many other truths followed.

Mainstream science today is making it harder to believe in God. You hear a bombardment of lies claiming ice to be millions of years old, bones to be that old as well and that the earth itself is billions of years old. Have you by chance seen the movie “Expelled” by Ben Stein? Have you read a book on hydrogen diffusion dating? How about asking an evolution scientist to show you how life began? If evolution were real there should be a huge tree of life… instead the facts will tell you that life suddenly exploded onto the earth and since then there have been a number of mass extinctions that the earth and the tree of origin has never recovered from by introducing other genealogy into the system.

Did you know that mainstream colleges actually fire teachers that believe in a newer earth and creation? I mean, if you’re going to make sure that educators starve for their beliefs in God? Where is it going to end? The very government set up to protect us is failing to do so, in fact taking more of our rights away to protect ourselves… or haven’t you figured out that is what gun control is all about? Putting guns into the hands of authorities only means that it’s just a matter of time before the authorities have nothing to fear from a peoples revolve because the people are helplessly unarmed. There is something evil afoot. You know that brings about an interesting domino effect. Because of this kind of one sided oligarchy replacing our Republic, I see some very bad things coming.

I could see masses of people buying into the lie that getting an implant chip is for your own good, for your security, for making your life easier that a debit card and for protecting your children against being kidnapped… whatever the lie? It’s the devil’s plan. How do you control an entire society? Well to control the masses and be able to track everyone how better to do it than with a method of integrating commerce with a method to track everyone. You see if you have a chip implant, and it is linked to your bank account? If a time comes when a person thinks the gov’t is wrong, when he/she learn the truth of God and don’t agree with what the gov’t says, or what the devil says? Just like the universities are doing with educators clinging to the truth of the Bible over the mistakes of man, the chip implanted in them will be turned off and they will not be able to buy or sell anything – including food.

You see, I foresee a time when there are masses of people that are “bad” Christians – that is they are those clinging to the skirts of a religion that they do not truly understand the power of, the meaning of or fully believe in or observe correctly – and because they haven’t been paying attention to events around them, these folks are alive when the church is taken away and the devil himself rules this earth. My question at this hour of my own demise, is will the church be taken away spiritually or will there be some disaster to “cover up” the evacuation? Will there be a day when two billion people suddenly die for a lack of reasoning, leaving the rest of the world to bury them? Will any of my own children be left standing there wondering why the rest of the family has suddenly passed away?

I can see the masterminds of global warming, the scammers that are preparing the world for an explanation as to why the sun is suddenly so hot, why the seas seem to boil as frozen methane is released from the slumber of the deep seas…. scammers like Al Gore trying to get richer from exploiting the foolishness of fools, by selling useless carbon credits… I can see the scientists that have blamed the global industrialization as the cause. I can see a day when the sun itself is blown out like a candle. When scientists that have said the earth is billions of years old finally realize that the sun is running out of fuel – when it too is supposed to last for millions of years more. I can see scientists scrambling to find excuses for their foolishness. Lastly, the one sign that will not be able to be explain away? I can only hope that this will be at least one undeniable sign given to this world that the Lord God created it all. The end is at hand when there is a sudden realization that no more babies are being born into this condemned world for the Almighty God of Heaven, the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the nation of Israel, is the Almighty and as a just, caring and loving God – will not allow for an innocent child to suffer through the tribulation hour.

I have also put it together that if the US is destroyed financially and the rapture of the church does come and the Persian alliance does lob a couple of nukes in to our nations backyard… within three years most of the world will starve. Many of the nations that are Islamic are dessert waste lands. If you think about it – probably for a good reason. Many nations in Africa will not be able to support their populations. The Christian church will be taken away and so will their professional health care and food services. Basically the good people of this earth that are the bread basket and producers blessed by God to be a light to the world will be gone. So, what happens when you take the spiritual light out of the world? The world plunges into darkness. Hope is taken out of the world. Praise the Lord the children will not suffer this punishment, but the adults that should know better will be punished.

I can see that the saying: “Those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it” being the epitaph for Iran, thanks to Mr. Ahmadinejad who chooses to selectively ignore history. Has this guy ever been to Auschwitz? Dachau? Berlin? Has he visited the USS Arizona? I mean this guy has got some blinders on. His own parents should be old enough to tell him how things were in the 1940’s.

I have spent a lifetime studying and learning as much as I could from high tech skills to build robotic machines to engineer solutions and computer programs for nearly anything I put my mind to. Never really built anything for myself though, other than a tree house and now a deck I may never finish.

For years when I was chasing the dream, I treated some of my own family with less respect than I would for a total stranger all because the job mattered that much. My excuse was I was doing it all for my family. Somehow it doesn’t seem that way anymore. Debt will do that to you – having to pay 3 and 4 times what a thing is worth just to carry a note for years and make it affordable in the short term – foolishness. I learned this late in life. They sure don’t teach credit and debt as a wealth killer and a parasite on society as a whole. Think about it, what would you do with the extra money you had if your house was paid off and all your cars were paid. What if you had no monthly payments and paid for everything with cash? Would you have more money at the end of the month?

A couple of friends have noticed I have changed since going back to school to finish my MBA. Yeah, I must admit I have grown weary of arguing with foolish people so much and not changing anything. As much as I love to do research and read about everything, even though I love being right – it is a curse. At least I have learned one thing and that is to use Socratic Method more and ask “Why?” several times.

Even I can see there are a lot of things I know now, that I totally missed the boat on. Yet many others I was knocking it out of the ball park and no one noticed. Someone told me a few months back though, that no one wants to be around somebody that is always right and that knows everything. Maybe they are right? After spending a lifetime acquiring all the knowledge, I grew up wanting to be like Spock and Mr. Scott always having the answers and being able to solve problems but here we are and what do I have to show for it but useless trivia knowledge?

For years I chased the dream, like many do, of having a good job, making something of myself and climbing that corporate ladder. I even enrolled in school several times to get certificates in management, leadership and public speaking. Too bad they didn’t teach tact! Huh? Perhaps I should have gone to finishing school instead!

You know, It’s a real shocker for anyone to reflect back on a life they have and to do a summary asking “Did I make a difference” or “Did I set the right example?” I know Gayla and I tried to change things in town, to bring some of the foolish decisions being made by the city into the spotlight. I guess there is a good thing to say about the bait and switch – I won’t have to pay for the Community Center, the AMC high rise that hasn’t risen or the Arts building to come.

I do wish I could have a few more hours with each of my boys. Granted, I have two older kids raised that are out of the house… that might miss me, but I spent a lot more time with them growing up, what with being a single father on welfare most of their lives. Today most of my children are still young, and I have gone out of my way to make sure each of them know how much I love them with all my heart – all without you know, getting too serious and making them worry.

Then there are the family members that I didn’t get along with, I really should have cut those ties earlier. That alone probably could have saved my oldest son from a life of paganism. I did finally cut off all contact with some of my family because they were very negative and super critical of everything. I made more money than they did, I had a better grade point average in college, I actually finished several degrees. I beat them at everything… but now, even my father will live longer than me. How just is that?

It is said that the more educated you become, the more foolish you realize you are… I’m not so sure the translation is accurate but I do know the more one becomes educated the more questions they have than before. I have all sorts of questions to ask, but mine will be asked of Jesus Christ I think.

You won’t catch me crying. You won’t catch me saddened… well much anyway. I still have the blessed hope that I’m not just in denial! I will still fight the good fight to the end – I promise you that. In fact I’m still planning on getting a robot lawn mower built to teach the kids robotics. I’m also hoping to finish my MBA next year and in the mean time get a good job using the degrees I already have. It’s tough these days to find a job making $50 and $60 an hour like I have been making though. Just keep your prayers heading our way and like I said… learn from my mistakes and find a deeper meaning for life in your own.

Yours in Christ
